3. Booking and Payment

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of required details and payment arrangement.
• Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise specified.
• Payment terms will be communicated during the booking process.
• Brell Tours reserves the right to modify pricing without prior notice.

4. Liability Disclaimer

While we prioritise your safety and experience:

• Wildlife: Wildlife encounters are unpredictable. Brell Tours cannot guarantee specific animal sightings. Guests participate at their own risk.
• Third-party activities: Activities facilitated through third parties (e.g., hot air balloons, bungee jumping) are governed by the third party's terms and conditions.
• Personal injury: Brell Tours is not liable for injuries sustained during activities not directly operated by us.
• Personal belongings: Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. We recommend leaving valuables at accommodation.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to:

• Natural disasters (floods, fires, extreme weather)

In such cases, we will endeavour to reschedule your booking to a mutually convenient date.

4. No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to appear for scheduled activities without prior notice will forfeit the full booking amount.

5. Modification by Brell Tours

If we must cancel or significantly alter your booking (e.g., due to weather or lodge closures), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.

Your safety is our priority. Please read and follow all guidelines carefully.

1. General Wildlife Safety

• Always stay inside vehicles during game drives unless guided to a safe viewing area.
• Never approach wildlife on foot. Maintain at least 20 metres from elephants and 10 metres from other animals.
• Keep voices low and avoid sudden movements that may startle animals.
• Do not feed wildlife under any circumstances.
• Stay quiet during predator sightings to avoid disrupting their behaviour.
• Never exit the vehicle to take photos, even if others are doing so.

2. The Big Five and Dangerous Animals

The Greater Kruger is home to Africa's most dangerous animals:

• Lions: Can sprint up to 80km/h. Stay in vehicles at all times.
• Elephants: May charge when threatened. Stay calm, vehicle engines on. Back away slowly if on foot.
• Buffalo: Unpredictable and dangerous. Keep distance.
• Rhinos: Rare sightings require extra caution. Never get between a mother and calf.
• Leopards: Often hidden in vegetation. Never walk in bush without an armed guide.
• Hippos: Extremely dangerous on land. Never walk near water without guidance.
• Crocodiles: Never swim in rivers or watering holes in the park.

3. Night and Walking Safaris

• Walking safaris are conducted with an armed, trained guide.
• Stay within arm's reach of your guide at all times.
• Wear closed-toe shoes (boots recommended).
• Speak in whispers or use hand signals.
• Do not走在前面 or fall behind the group.
• Follow commands immediately—these are for your safety.

4. Wild Camping Safety

• Never leave the designated campsite after dark.
• Keep all food securely stored—wildlife is attracted to smells.
• Follow guide instructions regarding camp fires.
• Use provided torches when walking at night.
• Report any animal sightings near camp immediately to your guide.
• Do not swim in rivers—crocodiles and hippos are present.

5. Health and Medical

• Malaria: The Kruger region is a malaria area. Consult your doctor about prophylaxis before travel.
• First aid kits are carried on all tours.
• Emergency evacuation is available but may require travel insurance.
• Hydration: Drink plenty of water—safari can be physically demanding.
• Sun protection: Use sunscreen, wear hats, and seek shade during midday.
• Inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications.
